My sister Alys was a freelance Graphic Designer working from home
but she was aways getting distracted and struggling to be productive.
I started thinking there must be another way for her to work. We had
been following the global trend in co-working overseas and knew that
would translate well on the Northern Beaches of Sydney.

I loved the idea of working from home when I became a freelancer.
No commute, no boss....excellent.
Soon I realised that the boredom of isolation had started to take its
toll on my productivity. I needed interaction, someone to run my
ideas past, another face to communicate with. So 'coworking'
became my ideal solution. I have now emerged from my hibernation, ready to get myself some collaboration! Hence the Grizzly bear in our CO-WORKA logo.
